Change your Stance
Mantra for the day: I will assume the blame for my part of any problem. Whenever I find myself feeling resentful, I will ask myself, "What was my part in this?"

Change the World You Live In
There may be darkness in my mind, but I will only allow light into the world. My mantra for the day.
inner turmoil
Accept that which you are given with grace, show the world the face they want to see, and confide in only those who cannot speak... for these be the lessons of the night
...while many people want to help, well meaning advice is not always good advice, and confidences are only kept by those who cannot speak....

Do it.
Mantra of the day: Do. Don't think about doing. Just do. It's the mental resistance that's tiring, not necessarily the physical task.
....Stop wasting your energy on creating excuses, start using that energy to make a change....
Change Today. It is the Beginning of the Future.
Often times we worry about what if.
What if... a month from now...?
What if... he says/she says.... ?
What if .... this happens in the future?
What if.... I had done that differently?.
When we should be worried about TODAY. We don't have a crystal ball to tell what will happen in the future. We don't have a time machine to change the past. But we do have to ability to change today, to choose what we will do, what we will worry over, and what we will say.
Today: Stay in the moment. Think about what you are doing NOW, and not what will happen in a week or a month or a year from this moment. One day at a time. One moment. Today. Tomorrow will arrive on schedule and we will deal with it then.

.... while it is good to plan ahead for the big what if's like death, we should not play out scenarios in our heads for every variable....

Plesant or Pissant?
"He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit, than he who captures a city. -Proverbs 16:32"
Today I choose to be a flower among the thorns and respond pleasantly during prickly situations.
... it isn't a journey through thorns to reach the dragon's keep, when all you seek is the scent of the flower...
Kindness has no motive
So often in life we do things with a motive, expecting something in return, as though we are OWED repayment. Kindness has no motives. Kindness is seeing a need, and meeting it - simply because you are able.
It is never too late to be kind, you may (probably will) be met with skepticism if (since) you have so often had motives behind your actions. Love perseveres even when met with doubt.

.....even though it is difficult, be kind, expect nothing......

Patience is a Virtue
Love is patient. I am not. But I can lead my heart into patience, my body will follow. Love is patient. I can be patient. I will be patient -
...but it is hard...
...but it is hard...

Where Does Change Start?
Change starts here, with me. I am beginning my commitment to change my perspective on life, to change my attitude... and in doing so, change the world around me.
I am making a conscious effort to change. I am starting with patience. When you choose to be patient, you choose to respond to a negative situation in a positive way.

.............I fear it is, but I hope its not too late.........
